In the U.S, eMarketer predicts that 83.4 million adults of 37.5% would scan a QR code by end of 2022 and this percentage rises to 42.6% by 2025. The number of smartphone QR code scanners would rise at a compound annual growth rate of 8.7% by 2025.

In the US, YouTube with 52.0% has ranked as the top app to watch live content. Then followed by Facebook app ranks at second place to watch live video with 42.6% then the third place was a tie between Instagram and TikTok with 33.4%. Whereas TikTok is the top live streaming destination for 16- to 24-year-old and Facebook for 25 to 44 ages.
