As per the earnings statement report, Amazon’s advertising sales pull up by 49% YOY (Year-Over-Year) to $8.09 billion in Q3. The complete U.S. digital ad revenue rose up 50% YOY to $81.5 billion when compared with the half-year of 2021. Even though Amazon is struggling with the recovery of in-store shopping, labor-related issues, etc that do not affect advertiser demand.

On this black Friday, consumers have spent nearly $9 billion which is a relatively high of 21% when compared to the last year. As per Deloitte predictions, U.S consumers would spend 9% more during this holiday season in 2021. In 2020, about 30% of US car sales have taken place in 2020.

As per the earnings statement, Alphabet the parent company of Google revenue has risen 41% YOY (year-on-year) to $65.1 billion in Q3. The revenue gained from Google advertising has marked $53.1 billion. YouTube Shorts also served its major role in adding up the revenue and the video-sharing platform revenue pull up 43% YoY to $7.2 billion in Q3. Coming to YouTube, Google is trying to build relationships with its creators. As of now, it has 2 million creators joining in the YouTube Partner Program and purchases.

Digital Trust Benchmark Report 2021 conducted a survey on 1,730 US social media users to assess how the users actually feel about nine social media platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube. The results were 52% feel that these platforms protect their private data, 41% say the platforms display misleading information, 38% say provide a safe environment, 24% feel displaying annoying ads and only 16% say it shows relevant ads.

As per the earnings statement, Twitter revenue increased to 37% YOY (year-over-year) to $1.28 billion in Q3. The revenue from advertising is 41% to $1.14 billion. The company's reliance on SKAN raised to 30% by which the IOS customers to whom Twitter is able to display its ads. The company is expected to improve its annual revenue further by at least $7.5 billion by 2023.
