Ethical AI use will be Top Priority for marketers in 2023.

Industry Pulse Report stated that three quarter of media experts reported declining consumer trust as their top concern for social media advertising. Whereas two-thirds of them feel that transparency issues would negatively impact their social media spending. Despite these issues, 90% of respondents said they would continue to advertise on the platforms in 2023.

Hub Entertainment Research found that 57% of consumers prefer to watch ads on a streaming service subscription if it could save $4 to $5 dollars. 65% prefer to use at least one free ad-supported streaming service. Consumers who already have subscription services are likely to switch to the platforms’ ad-supported options.

In 2023, combating misinformation and ethical AI use will be top priorities for marketers as per Gartner predictions. By 2027, 80% of marketers are expected to have a dedicated content authenticity function and by 2025, 70% of CMOs will prioritize accountability for ethical AI marketing. By 2024, 70% of marketers are expected to shift 10% of their budgets to product placement.

As per Lotame, 50% of marketers and publishers worldwide who use Data clean rooms are concert about privacy and the next concern was budget followed by issues with emails, scale, and partner overlap. If these concerns will be resolved which could drive more usage, as clean rooms become more powerful, publishers and marketers will budget for this tool.
