As per eMarketer predictions shipments of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) devices will push up by 87.7 million by 2026. These shipments are smart glasses, standalone devices that provide the experience without the help of a computer, game console, or smartphone. Meta drops $10 billion into the metaverse last year.
