The survey also stated that 79% view marketing as key to business transformation, while many CMOs see generative AI as a business enhancer. Consequently, 79% plan to invest over 10% of their budgets in innovation.

The company has said that it will hit $1.2 billion in ad sales for the 2024 Paris Olympics and its digital ad revenue has reached a new milestone. Revenue from new sponsors is nearing $500 million as brands seek to connect with global audiences.

Despite this, Marketplace and Groups remain under-monetized compared to the main feed, which is expected to account for 82.2% of Facebook’s ad revenue in 2024.
