Facebook is the Top Social Platform Among US Teens and Adults

Research from Edison revealed that Facebook was the top social platform among US teens and adults and it is used by 61%, then followed by Instagram at 44%, TikTok at 33%, Pinterest at 31% and Twitter and Snapchat stood at fifth with 27%.

TikTok has newly revealed a new ad program called Pulse Premiere that helps publishers to sell ads alongside their posts and take 50% of the revenue to the home. Now more than 150 million Americans are now on TikTok and the company is forecast to have 2.5% of the U.S. digital ad market this year and its U.S. ad revenue is expected to hit 36% to $6.83 billion.

Snap recently announced new features for advertisers and creators. In the US, it has also launched Snap Star Collab Studio which helps brands to connect with talent. Now it had 750 million monthly active users who create over 5 billion Snaps each day. Despite of these the company saw revenue decline 7% YOY to $989 million.

Day by day influencer marketing is increasing and becoming more expensive. August 2022 Adobe report revealed that about 86 million US creators have more than 5,000 followers and are earning from their content. February 2023 Hashtag Pay Me report stated that the amount earned from brand campaigns by US Instagram creators increased from $3,653 in 2021 to $5,111 in 2022.

According to iSpot.tv’s March survey Hulu was the top streaming platform in the US where 74% of the brands or advertisers are willing to allocate upfront spending in 2023 and then followed by YouTube TV with 48%, Peacock with 46%, Roku with 45% and Paramount+ with 35% stood at top five.
