YouTube has Launched an Advertising Capability called YouTube Select.

YouTube has recently launched a new advertising capability called as YouTube Select. This new technology helps the ads appear in viewers Shorts feeds among the popular and relevant videos. So, now marketers need to include a 60-second video or less along with the other assets.

Parent company Alphabet announced that Google’s advertising revenue dropped for the second consecutive quarter. This drop is relatively low compared to overall ad revenue of $54.55 billion versus $54.66 billion. YouTube’s revenue was down 3%, search and other revenues slightly increasing less than 2%.

Meta Platform saw revenue growth of $28.65 billion in Q1 after seeing several quarters of declines and the company wants to resume focus on artificial intelligence. The company wants to hit $29.5 billion to $32 billion in revenue in Q2. Recent metric shows that people are resharing Reels posts more than 2 billion times daily.

The latest earning reports of WPP state that the company has seen 11.9% hike in overall revenue and a 4.9% increase in like-for-like revenues in Q1 2023. The CEO has announced that in future the holding company’s investments in artificial intelligence.

Uber announced that its revenue grew up by grew 29% in the recent quarter. In the US, ride-hailing businesses helped Uber to recover from the pandemic and grow faster 40% from a year ago. Strong financial support came from tech companies like Microsoft, Google’s parent company and Meta.
