A Survey Revealed Influencer Marketing has Been Increasing

Agency Matter Communications revealed that influencer marketing has been increasing and 81% of the consumer say that social media posts from influencers, friends or family drive them to purchase the product and 69% of consumers trust influencers. 36% of them say YouTube is the top platform to get authentic influencer marketing content.

As per the latest earning report, in the US Walmart Connect, grew 41% YOY in Q4. The retailer’s global ad operations raised 20% over the period and pushed nearly 30% in 2022 to generate $2.7 billion.

As per emarketers predictions in the US display ad spending will grow by 15.7% in 2023 to reach $163.29 billion. Programmatic digital display ads are the biggest in the US which accounts for 91.1%, native ad spending will account for 59.7% and retail accounted for 24.7%.

It is estimated that about 4 million Gen Zers will open new accounts each year through 2026 and in order to reach these potential customers bankers must be active on social media platforms as 42.1% spend 1 to 3 hours, 30.8% spend 3 to 5 hours on those platforms and 55.7% of adult Gen Zers called mobile banking a top consideration before choosing a bank.

A study was conducted by DAC Group with 260 global marketing decision marketers and revealed that 85% want to adjust marketing strategies to prepare for a recession, 71% want to focus on reducing unnecessary spend, 68% consolidating marketing efforts and 67% wants to bring tech/services back in-house.

The latest earning report stated that Zoom revenue increased 4% YOY to reach $1.12 billion for the new fiscal year and earnings and revenue topped estimates for the fourth quarter. Earlier the company announced the layoff of 1,300 employees.
