The latest forecast from Magna said that global advertising revenues are expected to grow 9% YOY to $816 billion in 2022. Digital advertising sales are predicted to pull up by 13% YoY in 2022 to reach 65% of total ad sales. The research has revealed that the investments in digital video 16% YoY growth, search 15% and social media 11% and global advertising revenues will grow by 6% by 2023.

As per the report from GroupM and iSpot revealed that 17% of all ads advertised through CTV are playing when TV is off due to this marketers are losing $1 billion per year. 8% to 10% of all CTV ads are broadcasting on a dead screen. In 2017, CTV ad spending reached $2.6 billion and would increase to $18.9 billion in 2022, and hit $38.83 billion by 2026.

Shoppable video is a high-growth area for marketers to seek the attention of consumers with livestreams or video ads. YouTube Shorts now has 30 billion daily video views which is four times higher than the audience it drew a year ago.
