Instagram has newly introduced a new campaign that includes two three-minute short films in partnership with ad agency Johannes Leonardo called Instagram Connections and this will be available from October in the U.S. In Q2, the company revenue rose to 11% YOY.

Pinterest Q3 earning report states that the platform has been experiencing slow user growth while engagement gains with Gen Z. In Q2 it has got 2 million users making it 465 million monthly active users. In the US and Canada there is a 3% rise in the monthly active users for YOY.

Amazon's earning reports state that its advertising sales grow up 22% YOY in Q2 to $10.7 billion. Overall, the company quarterly performance increased above analyst predictions, by 11% YoY to $134.4 billion.

AI tools have been widely used by 87% of marketers and 85% of communication professionals for at least one application as per Benchmark survey. The key findings are 44% of marketers use AI for summarizing content, 33% for personalizing customer and user content, 30% for conducting research or producing content faster and 17% for improving customer service.

The survey by Izea revealed that more than Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, about 25%  of US users say that YouTube has been the No.1 choice to promote a product through an influencer. A survey by Gartner also says that worldwide 65% of B2B buyers say that YouTube has influenced a recent B2B purchase decision.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in July employment in the advertising and public relations sector in the US rose by 1,000 jobs to hit 497,200 which is the highest level since 2001. This sector has been added 1,300 jobs added in June and 1,800 jobs added in May.

Amazon recently hosted a 48-hour prime day sale in July that boosted U.S. online sales for 6.1% to $12.7 billion. Now the company is planning to host a second prime day sale in October.
